Graduate Development Program – Indigenous Affirmative Measure

The process is only open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants.

We are committed to making the program accessible to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders through the Indigenous Employment Affirmative Measure process. Processes like this help address the under-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in the Australian Public Service.

While merit remains the basis for selection, engagement and promotion, the aim of this process is to increase the representation of Indigenous Australians in Treasury and the Australian Public Service.

Australian Government Graduate Program

The Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP) streams are government lead initiatives that help recent graduates find a job in the public service. The Treasury participates in the following streams:

  • Economist Stream – led by the Treasury
  • Human Resources Stream
  • Data Stream
  • Digital Stream
  • STEM Stream
  • Indigenous Graduate Pathway
