Being proud to work in Treasury
Treasury shapes policies that directly impact Australians’ lives. I am proud to contribute to work that promotes equity, efficiency, and a stronger economy. It’s rewarding to know my work has purpose and significance.
Growing through experience
My team gives me strong support, with regular feedback and mentoring. There are lots of chances to learn - through training in different areas and hands-on legal experience, like attending High Court cases. Those opportunities have helped me feel more confidence in navigating complex legal and policy issues.
Working on what matters to me
I am passionate about creating fair and inclusive policies, especially for First Nations communities. At Treasury, I am part of the Reconciliation committee. I work on meaningful projects that reflect my values. This experience has shown me everyone can play a role in shaping a good culturally inclusive policy.
Balancing work and life at Treasury
Treasury offers flexible work options, even for graduates. This means I can manage personal commitments while still doing meaningful work. Joining workplace committees has also helped me make friends and settle into new cities. It’s made both work and personal life more enjoyable.
